FAQ

Q: When is the enrollment period?

At CSIS, our enrollment period is 365 days a year, providing flexibility and convenience for prospective students.

Q: Who is eligible to attend CSIS?

Our screening and evaluation process means that all students who meet our standards are eligible to attend. We foster a positive atmosphere of learning and growth, and our highly trained faculty have the experience and knowledge to help our students reach their goals.

Q: When is the deadline for application?

CSIS offers rolling admissions. Elementary and Middle School students can enroll throughout the school year. High School students are recommended to start at the beginning of the school year or beginning of the second semester in January. It is recommended that applicants have all eligibility documentation and testing completed at least one month before the anticipated first day of school. Students are required to attend at least 1/4 of the semester at CSIS.

Q: Is the admission test conducted at CSIS or can it be done remotely?

The admission test is conducted only at CSIS along with the interview.

Q: If an applicant takes the admissions test but does not pass, may we apply again?

Yes, students may apply to CSIS again.

Q: Does CSIS offer a Foundation Course for ELL?

Yes, but it is specifically designed for the students of grades 1-6 (Exceptionally for grades 7-8)

CSIS was the place where I could learn a lot of things. Throughout the years, I learned how to build an intimate relationship with God and to overcome my limits even when I am going through hardships. Although there were times when I was trapped in deep frustration, there were also times when I felt immense happiness and joyfulness. CSIS ADMISSIONS PROCESS

STEP 1: Admission Inquiry Form

Thank you for considering CSIS for your child's education. Our admission process is designed to provide families with a comprehensive understanding of our academic program and to determine if our school is the best fit for your child.

The first step in our admission process is to complete our admission inquiry form, which can be found on our website. Once we receive your inquiry, we will contact you to schedule a school visit. During this visit, you will have the opportunity to tour our campus and meet with our faculty and staff.

STEP 4: Class Observation

At CSIS, we believe that observing a student in a classroom setting is a critical component of our admission process. This process allows us to evaluate a student's intellectual, academic, social, emotional maturity, and readiness for our academic program.

During the class observation period, the applicant will observe two full days of classes for the assigned grade. Our homeroom teachers and subject teachers will conduct an evaluation of the applicant's performance during this time. They will look for evidence of the applicant's ability to engage with the curriculum, interact with their peers, and demonstrate academic potential.

Our teachers will evaluate the applicant's academic skills, including reading, writing, mathematics, and critical thinking. Additionally, they will assess the student's social and emotional maturity, including their ability to work collaboratively, show empathy, and manage their emotions. At the end of the class observation period, our admissions committee will review the teacher evaluations and make an admission decision based on the totality of the applicant's assessment.

STEP 3: Admission Tests

At CSIS, we take a comprehensive approach to the admission process to ensure that we are the best fit for your child's academic needs. As part of this process, we require all applicants to take an Admission Test and participate in an Interview.

The Admission Test is designed to assess a student's academic abilities and potential. The test is administered on the day of your school visit, and it covers a range of subjects, including mathematics, reading, writing, and critical thinking. Our Admissions team carefully reviews the results of the Admission Test to determine the student's academic readiness and potential for success at CSIS.

The Interview is an opportunity for us to get to know your child on a more personal level. Our Admissions team will ask questions about your child's interests, hobbies, and personality. We want to learn more about your child and understand what motivates them to succeed academically. The Interview is also an opportunity for you and your child to ask questions about our academic program and school culture.

STEP 2: Initial Admissions Session

At CSIS, we value the importance of personalized attention in the admission process. We understand that choosing the right school for your child can be a daunting task. That's why we offer an initial meeting with our Admissions representative to help you navigate the process and make an informed decision.

During this meeting, the Admissions representative will introduce you and your child to our school programs and provide an overview of our admission requirements. They will also answer any questions you may have about the admission process and school life at CSIS. We believe that this meeting is an important opportunity for parents to gain insight into our academic program, extracurricular activities, and our community.

The session typically lasts for about an hour and is a chance for us to get to know your family and understand your child's academic and personal goals. Our Admissions representative will work with you and your child to ensure that CSIS is the right fit for your family's needs.

STEP 5: Admissions Announcement

At CSIS, we believe that transparency and clear communication are key to creating a successful partnership between our school and your family. After completing the admission process, the final steps include the announcement of the school's decision, submission of required documents, and the transition plan.

Our Admissions team will notify you of the school's decision in a timely manner. If your child is accepted, you will receive detailed instructions on the next steps, including the submission of required documents. These documents may include academic records, medical records, and other necessary information.

Once all required documents have been submitted, our Admissions team will provide you with a comprehensive transition plan. This plan will include instructions on purchasing textbooks and uniforms, scheduling, and other important information to ensure a smooth transition for your child.
