부모들에게 주신 부모학교
하나님의 자녀로서 갖추어야할 성품을 매일의 삶 속에서 경험하고 연습할 수 있을 때, 아이들은 신의 성품을 가진 모습으로 자라납니다.
이 일을 위해, 우리 학교에서는 부모님들의 헌신을 기대합니다.
부모가 먼저 성품을 배우는 자리에 설 때,
겸손하게 성품을 훈련하기 위해 애쓰는 모습을 보여줄 때,
우리의 자녀들은 그 모습을 닮아갈 것입니다.
부모님들의 수고가 헛되지 않기 위해
학교에서는 부모학교를 시작하여
부모님들의 마음이 지치지 않도록
함께 하는 부모공동체를 만들었습니다.
어떤 이들은 학교에서 별일을 다 시킨다 하고
어떤 이들은 바쁜 부모에게 부담을 준다 하지만,
지난 십여년동안 부모학교를 통해
어찌할 바를 모르는 부모님들의 어깨를 두드려 주고
지치고 낙심한 부모님들의 손을 잡아주었던
그 시간들은 우리 모두가 함께 부모로서 자라갔던
소중한 경험이었습니다.
어느날 부모가 되긴 했지만
하나님이 기뻐하시는, 참 부모의 모습이 되기까지
오래걸리고 힘들더라도
함께 손을 잡아 주는
우리가 되길 바랍니다.
Parenting School Given to Parents
When children can experience and practice the character traits that they should have as God's children in their daily lives, they grow up with the image of possessing God's character. To achieve this, we expect parents' dedication in our school. When parents sit in a position to learn character traits first and show effort to humbly train their character, our children will resemble that image. To prevent parents' efforts from being in vain, our school has started a parenting school and created a community of parents working together to prevent parents' exhaustion.
Some say that schools give parents extra work and that they burden busy parents. However, for over a decade, through the parenting school, we have provided valuable experiences where we could support parents who did not know what to do and hold the hands of parents who were tired and discouraged. Those times were precious experiences for all of us to grow as parents.
Although we became parents one day, it may take a long time and be difficult to become a truly happy parent that pleases God. Nonetheless, we hope to become those who can hold hands together and help each other.
